On summer Wednesdays, the Main Square of Ordino becomes the scene of the Open Nights. These are a series of outdoor concerts that are open to all types of music and they form the ideal occasion to dine or enjoy a drink with a musical accompaniment at one of the terraces along the town’s main street.
 

The second weekend in August marks the Bagpiper Festival, which features popular events throughout the day, including performances by bagpipe groups from around the world in every corner of Ordino. Likewise, on the Saturday night of the Festival a Folk Tavern is organized with free admission for all, allowing everyone to enjoy live bagpipe music.

Throughout the summer the towns in the Municipality of Ordino hold their main annual festivals, with children’s activities, sports events, afternoon dances, chocolate feasts, night dances and hot wine.
 

In the autumn, usually in the month of October, the Narciso Yepes International Music Festival takes place with a very diverse programme of outstanding concerts. Classical music predominates but there are also performances of jazz and of Celtic and traditional Spanish music.
This festival of international renown is held at the National Auditorium of Andorra in Ordino.

Once the winter season is well under way, each year Ordino pays its own particular tribute to the world’s mountains with the holding of the Mountain and Travel Film Cycle of Ordino and La Massana. This cinema cycle offers free showings of films about the ascent of the world’s great peaks. Each showing is followed by a brief chat among the audience, the directors and the protagonists of the respective film. The cycle is held at the National Auditorium of Andorra in Ordino and at Fontetes Hall in La Massana.
